A NEW exhibition in Exeter will tell the story of Polish people settling in the South West. The Anglo Polish Society has organised an exhibition to highlight the links of friendship and support between Poland and the South West over many years.
The exhibition, which will feature a large number of wall-mounted photographs, will run for one month from Monday, October 25 at the Chapter House, Exeter Cathedral. Entry will be free.
The Lord Lieutenant of Devon, Eric Dancer, will open the exhibition at 3pm.
The exhibition will also include images taken at Ilford Park, near Newton Abbot, a settlement camp for Polish ex-combatants and their families who could not return to Poland, which was under Communist rule.
