Friday 23 July, 2pm –7pm > St. John’s Sculpture Garden, Waterloo Road SE1 8TY by the IMAX CINEMA
In partnership with Living Memory, a heritage project in
Waterloo, South Bank and Bankside.
FREE activities and entertainment
all ages welcome
Activities include:
• Live music and entertainment including jazz, dance
performance, Kate Portal and John Forman
• Stalls include: Putting Down Roots plant stall, mosaics sale,
activity and information stalls by Brownies, SE1 United and Coin
Street including games and crafts
• Refreshments by Blackfriars Settlement
• Face painting and balloons
• And much more … all ages welcome!
Living Memory Heritage activities will include:
• Exhibition of work from the project including; O5 Heritage
screens, 3D Map, film footage, foreshore mosaic and film
flashes by Blackfriars Settlement (The exhibition will run from 20
July – 29 July)
• Personal History stall – share items that are important to you
with people from different generations
PLEASE BRING ITEMS ALONG TO SHARE
• Launch of local history walks – find out about a range of free
walks taking place over the summer in the local area and try out
walks at 2.30pm or 5.30pm
• Heritage crafts stall – Quilling and Rag rug work
• Food workshop/stall – try making and eating some war time food
• Traditional games and Petanque in the garden
