An extraordinary chance to see one of the UK’s hottest up-and-coming songwriters. Katy Carr is a fresh and unique talent with sensual and sexy self-penned folk songs, delivered with verve and humour.

Katy and her stunning trio The Aviators combine acoustic instrumentation with electronic effects to bring a new and fresh twist to the female singer-songwriter tradition.
Katy’s album Coquette launched in London in November 2009 to rave reviews from Q Magazine, Maverick and Mojo to name but a few!  Beaford Arts are delighted to be welcoming her to North Devon this March to perform in three small venues where audiences will be able to enjoy Katy’s mesmerizing blend of folk and electronica music.
Katy has collaborated with artists including Nitin Sawhney, Mediaeval Baebes, Patrick Wolf, John Hegley and appeared at festivals including Bestival, Secret Garden Party, Wickerman, Cambridge Folk Festival Green Man Festival, Wychwood, Isle of Wight, Glastonbury, Lost Vagueness.
