I called the group Katy Carr and the Aviators partly because my lineup has changed so many times over the years and almost like a airplane my group has rolled, yawed and looped in many directions. (more…)

This is my first blog on this new website so I am going to let you know what have been up to in 2009 – It has been a busy and exciting year starting off with a visit to the Folk Alliance in Memphis in Feb 09. Our trip was funded by the PRSF – Performing Rights Society Foundation here in Britain and Katy Carr and the Aviators my group given a grant to attend with my accordionist Anja McCloskey. We had such fun and met so many wonderful people from all over the world and we would love to go again….
