✨✨WE REMEMBER ✨✨The 80th anniversary of the #WarsawRising1944  ▶️Be with us to commemorate the HEROES who fought for the FREEDOM of POLAND 🇵🇱

✨✨WE REMEMBER ✨✨ The 80th Anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising 1st Aug 1944 – 2024 On 1 August 1944, an uprising broke out in the Polish capital of Warsaw. For the thousands of Poles involved, this was seen as a battle for the liberation of their entire country. Led by a resistance movement known as the Home Army, the uprising saw insurgents fight street-to-street against the German occupying forces with the aim of driving them out of the city and eventually all of Poland. After 63 days of brutal fighting, a capitulation agreement was signed. The insurgents were to lay down their arms and go into captivity. Warsaw was completely flattened and Poland was to face her next reign of terror to last for 5 decades — the Cold War.

✨✨WE REMEMBER ✨✨All those caught up in terrible warzones and terrible totalitarian regimes. Our hearts go out to your famillies who are praying for the safe return of their loved ones at the frontline / hostages / political prisoners . Special prayers for my friends and family in Ukraine 🇺🇦 and Israel 🙏 and to my escapee friends from North Korea and China who inspire me everyday with their strength and crusade to fight for liberty in the face of adversity.
