Katy Carr invites guest speakers from the 2011 Polish ARTeria exhibition and music showcase which takes place this weekend on 15th, 16th July at the Crypt of St. George the Martyr, Borough High Street, London. Teresa Bazarnik editor of Nowy Czas (New Times) magazine in London will share with listeners how she was involved in initiating the original concept of ARTeria in April 2009 and this year’s core artist Kristian Data will discuss the photography exhibition he has created of Polish musicians, including Katy Carr who perform and contribute to London’s great cultural melting pot. Expect to hear live music and recordings from the various musicians involved.
extra info –  ARTeria showcase works by artists representing a cross section of current movements in the visual arts and aims to promote Polish culture and values, positive examples of the achievements of the Polish community in Southwark and facilitate social cohesion and integration by building mutual understanding between the British and Polish communities.
