Katy Carr plays at the Open City Film Festival Gala 16th June 2011 —- Sometimes seen with just a Ukulele and at other times with a band of Aviators Katy Carr always fills a stage with charm.
At the Open City Festival we are delighted to announce that Katy will be performing after the screening of Kazik and the Kommanders Car (Hannah Lovell) which follows Katy’s visit to Poland in August 2009 to meet Kazik, now 90, and play him her song ‘Kommander’s Car’, a tribute to his do-or-die escape.
