Dear Friends 🍂✨As autumn spreads its golden colours 🍁, I’d like to share news of a very special event at The Guildhall Museum in Leicester 🎶 and pay tribute to two remarkable Polish women 👵🏻🌹 who have deeply touched my life 💖.
🎶 On Sunday, 16th November 2025, I will be performing at Leicester’s Guildhall Museum 🏛️, one of the oldest and most historic venues in Britain 🇬🇧, in a commemorative concert honouring memory 🕯️, strength 💪 and freedom 🕊️.

The concert will take place in the Great Hall – a medieval timber-framed room dating back to 1390, complete with a stage, ideal for theatrical and musical performances.
This special afternoon is held in partnership with Aktywny Dialog (@aktywnydialog.pl), Polish Centre „Wilno” Manchester, The Ribbon of Memory Foundation – Fundacja Wstęga Pamięci (@wstegapamieci.org)  and Project Polska (@projectpolska.org.uk) to mark:

• Remembrance Day (11th November) – honouring those who gave their lives in war and conflict
• Polish Independence Day (also 11th November) – celebrating Poland’s return to sovereignty
• 85th Anniversary of the Deportation of Poles to Siberia (1940) – remembering the victims of Soviet aggression and forced exile during World War II

Through music, storytelling and shared remembrance, we will honour the strength of the Polish spirit and the enduring bonds between our communities. Expect an afternoon of moving songs inspired by history, hope and humanity.

STO LAT PANI JANINA !!!! This month, I also had the honour of singing for Pani Janina, a Siberian survivor, on the occasion of her 100th birthday. Her life is a symbol of courage and resilience, and it was a privilege to celebrate this milestone with her and her loved ones.

✨✨✨WE REMEMBER JADWIGA ZARZYCKA RIP ✨✨✨ (16th September 1939- 14th October 2025)
Rest in Peace beloved Pani Jadwiga beloved mother, friend, Siberian survivor, beloved friend, and proud Polish patriot.My heartfelt condolences go out to her family during this difficult time – sending love, strength and prayer to her children Basia, Danusia, Ryszek and Graham. I was so deeply honoured and moved to be asked to sing at her funeral. I will always remember singing for her in life, and it was an honour to sing in her memory as we laid her to rest. Jadwiga was a kind, gentle soul ✨✨✨May the angels guide you safely on beautiful Polish lady ✨✨✨
Below Pani Jadwiga pictured proudly wearing her Siberian cross as a testiment of her survival and struggle against Russian aggression – she had experienced scenes of gross human slavery as a young child and knew the dangers of far left totalitarianism first hand. 

These incredible Polish ladies and their stories continue to inspire my music and my mission to preserve the legacy of those who endured unimaginable hardship with dignity and strength.
I hope you’ll join me in Leicester to honour these histories and celebrate the healing power of music.
