What a wonderful month it’s been! Performing at The Idler Festival and Finsbury Fest has filled my heart with joy, music, and connection. Thank you to everyone who shared those moments from inspiring conversations beneath the trees, to spontaneous tunes echoing through the sunlit afternoons. I’ve met the most incredible people and felt deeply uplifted by the warmth and creativity all around. I hope you’re enjoying a restful and radiant summer wherever you are.
New Show Announcements! I’m thrilled to share two upcoming performances that are close to my heart:
- On 12th August, I’ll be honouring the visionary poet William Blake with a special performance at Bunhill Fields, the site of his grave. This commemorative event is a celebration of Blake’s radical spirit, imagination, and timeless words — and I can’t wait to bring his poetry to life in such a sacred and historic space.
- Then on 24th August, I’ll be performing songs from my new album for Ukraine to be released shortly and Ukrainian folk songs at the Ukrainian Independence Day celebration in Bedford at 12:00. It promises to be a powerful and moving event honouring culture, resilience, and community. I’d love to see some familiar faces there – come and celebrate with us! A BIG thank you to William Summers and his AMAZING music and pipes – we had a great show in the attic of Fenton House at the Idler Festival and Will shared the musical history of his instruments ! – here discussing the musical heritage of the Crumhorn – which is a double-reed woodwind instrument that was popular during the Renaissance period (15th to 17th centuries) and has seen a revival in modern times for early music performance. Characterized by its curved, J-shaped body and a reed enclosed in a wooden cap, it produces a distinctive reedy and nasal tone.! :)Thanks for playing my William Blake Compositions with me to beautifully!

Tribute in Kraków – Supporting Polish Heritage I’m proud to support Alexander’s project in honour of the Polish pilots who fought alongside the Royal Air Force. As the 85th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain approaches, the Polish Air Force Memorial Team is building a striking new memorial at the Kraków Aviation Museum.
