Hello from Katy Carr,
Hope you have all had a merry month of May – the transitional month where we depart the youthful, freshness of spring to bring forth the glory and joy of our summer months in the northern hemisphere of Mother Earth….
Welcome all new subscribers, i probably met you this at my gigs this month at 40 Winks, Je Thames, and around London Town. Thanks to all of those who turned up to our film screening of ‘Kazik and The Kommander’s Car,’ at Portobello Film Festival last night. Both Hannah and I are so pleased to share it with you. In fact Kazik will be visiting the UK for the first time in Jan 2011. I have just negotiated wiith the Polish Embassy here in London to have him flown in for the 66th Anniversary of the Liberation of Auschwitz. We will show our film and there will be a discussion hopefully mediated by Pawel Sawicki of the Museum of Auschwitz so more details to follow. I will play a concert to accompany the evening and play ‘Kommander’s Car’ live.
I leave you with some gig dates in June hope to see you soon
