my Grandma has been making shortcrust pastry for most of the last 86 years ever since she was ten and learnt it from her mother – although she finds it difficult to cook nowadays i have really fond memories of going to her house and having her homemade lemon curd tarts, jam tarts, apple pie and various fruit pies – blackcurrent, raspberry, victoria plum.
