Just spoke to Kazik Piechowski and he is currently recovering from being in Hospital in Gdansk for 12 days WE love you Kazik and so pleased you are still with us ! lots of love from the UK x xx kc
Kazimierz Piechowski is currently in hospital in Gdansk Poland and has had a heart failure. His story and brave escape from Auschwitz in 1942 was main source of inspiration for my song ‘Kommanders Car.’ Since meeting him last August Kazik is now my adopted Grandfather and I really hope he has the chance to visit England and London in March 2011 – so I wish that he stays with us a little bit longer WE LOVE YOU KAZIK KOCHAM CIE X X X X X KC stills from our documentary Kazik and The Kommanders Car x x x
